Britney Spears: No OOPS, She's Doing it Again!

In the past year Britney has been in the news a lot, especially considering she hasn't had an album release or been touring. She is, after all, a newly single mom (having filed for divorce in November from her husband of two years, Kevin Federline) raising her two children, 3 month old Jayden James, and 1 year old Sean Preston. No, the news has been about the young mothers party lifestyle with fellow party girls Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan. The most recent rumor is to have fallen down after leading the New Year's Eve countdown at a Las Vegas nightclub. In a recent post on her web site, Spears writes: "the media has criticized my every move and printed a skewed perception of who I really am as a human being."
Of her latest project Spears writes: "I've been working so hard on this new album and I can't wait for you all to hear it and to go on tour again," although no release date has yet been set, "I am working hard to release the new album sometime later this year." Spears goes on to say she looks forward to "coming back this year bigger and better than ever."
